South Red Agate - Red Bead Auspicious
Nan Hong agate, also known as "Baima Rega," is one of the seven treasures in Tibetan Buddhism, historically called "Chizhu." Its color resembles persimmon red or blood amber, and it is warm and lustrous, carrying the purest blessings of the snowy plateau. Ancient Tibetans believed Nan Hong agate was formed from the blood of the eight legions of demonic spirits, and wearing it could ward off evil, protect the wearer, and attract good fortune. There's even a beautiful saying, "If Nan Hong is not red, one will be poor for life." In the Sumi · Heritage Treasures series, Nan Hong agate perfectly integrates with intangible cultural heritage Thangkas: it is either crafted into portable bracelets, pendants, or handheld pieces, receiving blessings in resonance with the Thangka deity; or Nan Hong is used as an embellishment, adding a warm blessing of earthly joy. Each piece of Nan Hong agate is a spiritual stone tempered by billions of years of geological processes, paired with the solemn wisdom of the sacred Mount Meru, allowing you to carry the eternal protection of peace, prosperity, and compassion with you.
